Hundreds of motorcycle illegally parked in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta were raided. Not only flattened, some of motorcycles were also seized.

We seize 24 motorcycles and 187 were flattened

Jakarta Dept. of Transportation Vice, Sigit Wijatmoko, said the raid has been held many times, but vehicle owners seem ignoring the raid.

“We seize 24 motorcycles and 187 were flattened,” he said, Thursday (8/25).

During the raid, his side deployed 50 joint personnel from Jakarta Dept. of Transportation, Central Jakarta Sub-dept. of Transportation and police.

“The seized motorcycles are ticketed by police personnel,” he added.
